By comparison, KT (South Korea’s second largest carrier with about 14 million users) said that it received 60,000 iPhone pre-orders before the smartphone’sSource: Unwired View RSS Feed

Samsung's new S700 and S1000 cameras

After their last round of completely out of left field NV-series cameras, we were kind of hoping Samsung wouldn't again resort to their well-specced but below average line of Digimax cameras, but here we have it. Samsung's new seven megapixel S700 and ten megapixel S1000 get the job done with 2.4-inch LCDs, 3x optical zoom, 16MB internal memory, and in the case of the S1000 MPEG-4 VGA video recording. Remote Display Lets You Use Camera from 500 Feet

The Pro-View wireless camera display squints its eye up to the viewfinder so you don’t have to. The two-part gizmo uses a video camera to peek into the optical viewfinder of a DSLR and beams the image up to 500 feet where it can be viewed on a 640 x 480 LCD screen, similar to the resolution on the last generation of DSLR cameras (around 3K pixels).

The transmitter comes in a variety of fits designed to work with most DSLRs from Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Sony, and you can use up toSource: Gadget Lab RSS Feed
